Heat treatment consists of a hard Nitrided surface for unmatched toughness and anti-wear characteristics.
Valve Locks: Ferrea Valve Locks are manufactured from high quality 4140 chromoly bar stock and machined to exact tolerances.
The locks are heat-treated for a maximum strength and finished with the black oxide for an attractive appearance.
